One Day they say You’ll be one Step closer to one More year gone Faster than I can Blink my tears Away falling like Countdown streaks counting Time like currency they say That you don’t sleep that You must be wide eyed you Don’t want to miss a thing I thought I knew how To stop time in lines Like these but yesterday You were born and Today you are One
